After 35 months here, I’m very happy with my new life in the islands.  As part of the traditional holiday’s, I send this letter in gratitude for all of the friends, colleagues and many others who’ve touched my life. Your acceptance and support are deeply cherished. I’m connected with so many wonderful groups and people of which I have greater or lesser contact. There are hundreds of addresses in my book making it very complicated to thank everyone personally. Whatever you feel/celebrate this time of year, please know that I wish you inner peace and joy.

In short, I've been on island almost three years and again I’m trying to buy a house. Recreation activities are exciting, and I’m getting some new business this year. Living 14 miles south of Hilo, I like it in the country after being out here for 6 months. I found a really good set-up living with a great landlord and have 2 house/lifekeepers + a great friend. Things are going well. I even took B. (The Great Friend) up on her offer to grocery shop with my list and bring me the food twice a month.
